KATHLEEN YURCHAK: One of the most difficult cases to handle are catastrophic injury cases. In those cases, with the death of a loved one, or severe injuries of a loved one, special attention is needed. Not only important to thoroughly investigate those kind of cases because they are complex, but to make sure that the family understands that their rights are being protected by our firm. That they can focus on dealing with the family and protecting their family during those particular times.

In catastrophic injuries where someone is killed or very severely injured the last thing you want to sit and worry about at that time is how am I going to plan for my children's future, if your spouse has died, if your spouse is severely injured.

In those cases it is very important to focus on what your needs are going to be in the future. Do you need a handicapped accessible ramp? How are you going to pay for your child's education? How are you going to pay for your health care costs in ten years when you know that you're going to need those?
